Now Hiring · Telewealth Advisors · Full-Time · W-2 Statutory Employee

Ridgemont Financial

Build your career.Or build a team.

I'm building a virtual advisory team — two tracks, one standard. Pre-qualified appointments. Independent carrier access. W-2 stability with statutory-employee tax advantages. Whether you're proven or proving it, there's a seat here for the right wiring.

Who's Hiring

I've built the room you'll close in.

Thirty years inside the financial services industry. I've recruited, scaled, and led advisor teams from 70 to 150 at the corporate level and 55 across Texas at the regional level. Full P&L responsibility, full stack — recruiting, onboarding, retention, production.

I built a lead generation platform to an 8-figure valuation in under twelve months, exited successfully, and today run Ridgemont Financial — a boutique virtual planning firm.

I know what makes producers thrive — at every stage of a career. I know what kills them. That's why this team is built the way it is.

The Setup

Most agents hunt. Our advisors just advise.

5-7 appointments a day

Pre-qualified, pre-booked. You step in already on the phone with the right people at the right moment.

Zero costs. Zero exceptions.

No leads to buy. No marketing spend. No overhead. No CRM bills. The pipeline is built and paid for.

Show up. Just advise.

Marketing, lead gen, nurture, follow-up, compliance — handled. Your only job is the conversation that converts.

Two Tracks

Pick the lane that fits where you are now.

Same product shelf. Same lead flow. Same statutory-employee structure. Different chapter of your career.

Team Lead Path

Track 01

Senior Advisor

For the proven producer. You've done the reps, run the calls, closed the deals. You're ready to multiply — first your own production, then a team.

Who this is for

  • 2+ years licensed (Big 4 captive a strong plus)
  • $100k+/month in closed premium, proven and verifiable
  • A documented sales process — not vibes, a system
  • Ready to mentor as you grow into formal leadership

The leadership path

Start by mentoring an early-career advisor. Prove the wiring. Grow into a formal pod-lead role with override compensation on a team of 3-5 advisors — without losing your own personal book.

Mentored Ramp

Track 02

Early Career Advisor

For the licensed advisor who's still proving it. You've got the license. You've got the drive. What you don't have yet is a system that pays you back for the effort.

Who this is for

  • Already Life & Health licensed in your home state
  • 0–2 years in the business — motivated to level up fast
  • Coachable. Hungry. Willing to follow the playbook before you rewrite it
  • Ready to sit on real appointments from day one

How the ramp works

Paired with a senior advisor mentor from week one. Live appointment co-pilot. Recorded-call coaching. Carrier and product training. You're producing in month one — not three.

Both tracks share the same statutory-employee structure, carrier shelf, lead flow, and daily commission payouts. The difference is your starting point — and how fast you scale from it.

The Position

Full-Time. W-2 Statutory Employee.

This is not a 1099 side hustle, a part-time appointment funnel, or an "independent contractor" relationship. It's a real seat with a real structure — built so the right closer can plant a flag and build a career.

Full-Time Commitment

Monday–Friday, exclusive to Ridgemont Financial. Pre-qualified appointments fill your calendar. This is your one seat, not your fifth side gig.

W-2 Statutory Employee

You receive a W-2 with Box 13 "Statutory employee" checked. FICA is withheld by Ridgemont, but federal income tax is not — giving you a hybrid structure built specifically for full-time life insurance professionals.

Schedule C Tax Advantages

As a statutory employee, you report your commission income on Schedule C and can deduct ordinary and necessary business expenses against it — the same way a 1099 producer would, but with employer-paid FICA.

What that means in plain English

You get the W-2 stability and FICA contribution of a traditional employee, and the business-expense deduction power of an independent producer. It's the structure the IRS designed specifically for full-time life insurance salespeople under IRC §3121(d)(3)(B) — and the same structure top captives use to retain their best closers… without being captive to just one company.

We recommend you confirm tax treatment with your CPA. Ridgemont does not provide tax or legal advice.

Built for a Closer

The pipeline is mine. The close is yours. The math is fair, daily, and built to scale with you.

Uncapped

No ceiling. No territory cap. The harder you close, the bigger the number.

Paid daily

No weekly batch, no 60-day delays. Commissions are released to you each business day as policies are issued and paid.

Competitive splits

Top of market for a closer-only seat. Structure shared in first conversation.

If exact dollars are the only thing that gets you to write the email — this isn't the seat. The right person knows what they're worth and will recognize the structure when we talk.

The Fit

Both tracks share the same DNA.

Track-specific experience differs. Everything below is non-negotiable for either lane.

You are

  • Currently Life & Health licensed (resident state, at minimum)
  • Comfortable on the phone and Zoom all day — from anywhere
  • Process-loyal: you follow the playbook before you rewrite it
  • Self-aware: you know your role and own it like a craft
  • All-in on full-time. This is your seat, not your fifth side gig.

Don't apply if

  • MLM background of any kind
  • Independent shop hopping every 18 months
  • Quick-start "close anything that moves" energy
  • Looking for part-time, side-gig, or 1099 flexibility
  • Need to be sold on the opportunity (this isn't that conversation)

The KOLBE Profile

How you're wired matters more than how you sell.

We use Kolbe A across both tracks. The MO we hire for:

Fact Finder

High

You ask the questions most agents skip. Discovery is the close.

Follow Through

High

You finish what you start. Process loyalty is your edge.

Implementer

Mid

You execute when it's clear. You don't reinvent the room.

Quick Start

Low

You don't improvise the close. You honor the process.

The MBTI Profile

INTJ. The Strategist.

You see the system. You plan the work. You work the plan.

I

Introvert

Energy comes from depth, not crowds. You think before you speak — and prospects feel the difference.

N

Intuitive

You read between the lines. Patterns, motivations, what the prospect isn't saying — that's where you live.

T

Thinking

Decisions are logic-first. You close with frameworks and clarity, not pressure or charm.

J

Judging

Structure is freedom. You finish what you start, on time, on script, on the system.

The Math

What happens when the chase is already done for you?

5-7 pre-qualified shots a day.

All you have to do is advise — and get paid daily for it.
